Speaking of "legal", I keep eyeing the Bluebonnets that are popping up everywhere. Now there is an expensive state fine if you get caught

I tried the lavender. Got plenty of green but not so much of the purple and was thinking of adding some lavender colored chalk. I'm pretty sure the oils from the flowers would hold it to the paper. Will let ya'll know how it turns out.

I was also wondering how long the smell lasts on the paper!?! Wouldn't mind a lavender scented car freshener tag.

Here is a collage of pics from my lavender pressing. First a pic of the two types I have, the two pieces of paper I put the flowers between after pressing and a close up of the flowers partially colored in with pinkish purple chalk. That is the only color I added, the rest is mother nature. I love the feathery wisps on the stems:
