I was thinking today that I really want to play with gesso... so that sparked a thought. What if every so often I host a specific technique swap (kind of similar to Pat's Flower swap)? I'm thinking along the lines of a Gesso ATC swap, followed by something like a Resist ATC swap or Acrylic Paint ATC swap. Any interest? Also do you like having the swap size limited to say, 9, and making for and receiving from everyone in the group?

If I add this type of swap, I would definitely change the Technique Swap to quarterly.

I like it! Reminds me of my very first swap...spray starch and Pearlx!

I would be intereseted in particular techniques to swap, Not sure how well I'd do with some of them but would be fun.
I hope I did say that I would Not be participating in may swap? Didn't I???

Sounds like a good idea to me! Sometimes I just can't seem to come up with a technique, even after looking at all the great ideas listed.Having a certain topic appeals to me for some reason!

I posted the Gesso ATC swap info here:
http://www.rubberstampchat.net/showt...945#post154945

This swap is limited to 9 artists only, so come on over if you'd like to play with gesso. I'm already thinking of more specific techniques to feature in the future.
