changing individual threads to already read

How come we can't double click and show individual threads as already read. We can do that with all threads in a section but not just one. I even right clicked to see if an option would come up but nope. Some threads may not apply to a person and it would be nice to change the status without having to open them up just to do so.

The software is set up so that a thread isn't shown as read unless you have actually opened the thread, marked the forum that it's in as read or marked the entire forum as read. On larger, busy boards the entire read/unread feature isn't even worth keeping up on and someday RSC will be that busy as well.
