That is crazy! Thank goodness I put the ATC's in a plastic holder. I always take mine to the PO to weigh and mail so no one has postage due. Maybe they're using a "weed wacker" to sort envies now a days!! lol I'll be taping all envies from now on too!

Oh how bloomin was my mail box! Stunning images from Jaimie and Deb!

Deb tried to minimize damage by sending separately! The thicker one got thru fine..but the thinner one tore on the corner. She did put tape around in one diection...and that probably kept it from tearing further! Jaimie used a large envelope folded in thirds, with thick paper and taped it very well...no problems with that one!

Thank you both excellent art!

Ah! The tape did its job. It doesn't matter the envelope tore, as long as the contents made it ok. My girlfriend and I used to send talking tapes to each other (several a week) and had many mishaps from the post office. But tape worked better than boxes, or padded envelopes, I would by the buy the large roll of Scotch shipping package tape and it would last about a year. Plus it comes with a plastic thing that helps you cut it, like a dispenser.
Now she has passed away I don't send tapes.

I expect my ATCs to be in the mail tomorrow or Thursday. I will tape them well given all the trouble others have been having. (It is warm here in Chicago - a very early Spring, so making ATCs with yellow flowers felt right in line with the weather.)

I did a really silly thing today. I mailed my ATCs (and was really proud that I was not mailing them the last day), but I forgot to fill out the back of them with any of my information. They are stamped with a great ATC stamp but none of the info is there. So, those are from me - Julie B. They are a series of 15. Thanks!

The daffies are just about all gone now...these orange throats are the only ones sending up buds.

How beautiful, thank you for sharing, I do not have any early flowers in my yard, but my rocks look good.
